Dr. George Piper is a Professor of Systems Engineering and the Chair of the Weapons, Robotics and Control Engineering Department at the U. S. Naval Academy. He teaches courses in robotics, automatic control systems, and mechatronics. Along with teaching, Dr. Piper conducts cooperative research with the Naval Research Laboratory and the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center in the areas of unmanned aerial vehicles, robotic aircraft, and space vehicle dynamics and control. Sean Moran graduated from Mount St. Joseph in 2017. At MSJ, he was a member of the Varsity Baseball Team. From 2017-2021, Sean attended the University of Delaware, where he majored in Sport Management with a minor in Advertising. After Delaware, Sean decided to pursue a master’s degree in Sport Leadership at Virginia Commonwealth University, one of the top postgraduate sports programs in the country. He was promoted from Ticket Office Graduate Assistant to Assistant Director for Ticket Operations in February. Sean will graduate from VCU in December 2022.
