World Languages

Overview

World language students dedicate themselves to the study of language in order to master valuable communication skills for application in our diverse global community, remembering that a language can be a strong tie among persons of different origins, races, and religions. As citizens of a rapidly-changing and increasingly globalized society, we use our language skills to promote understanding and kinship with other peoples of the world. The World Languages Department offers five levels of Spanish, Italian, and French, as well as one level of Latin.
